About this tool

What it does and why it matters

Every social platform crops images differently. A photo that looks perfect on Instagram may be cut off as a YouTube thumbnail or a Facebook cover. Posting at the correct size keeps faces, logos and text exactly where you want them.

Pick a preset, choose whether to fill the frame (crop) or fit the whole image on a background colour, and download a high-quality JPG or PNG. Everything happens on your device, so your photos stay private.

Still have a question? Contact us
What size is an Instagram post?

Square posts are 1080 × 1080 px and portrait posts are 1080 × 1350 px. Stories and reels are 1080 × 1920 px.

What size is a YouTube thumbnail?

1280 × 720 px (16:9). Keep it under 2 MB.

What is the difference between fill and fit?

Fill crops the image so it covers the whole frame. Fit shows the entire image and adds a background colour to the empty space.

Will the quality drop?

Downscaling keeps quality high. Enlarging a small image can look soft, so start with the largest version you have.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Resizing happens in your browser and nothing is sent to Klaslead.
