Klaslead Music is the record label of Klaslead Productions Pvt. Ltd., the all-in-one media production house in Hooghly, West Bengal. It exists for a simple reason: most independent artists in India can upload a song, but very few get a team behind it. A great record needs A&R, production, mastering, artwork, a music video, a release plan, playlist pitching, social content and someone tracking the royalties — and an artist working alone rarely has all of that. At Klaslead every one of those skills already works under the same roof, so the label can give an artist the whole machine instead of a single service.
Every release starts in the studio. Our producers and engineers work with the artist on arrangement, vocals and sound, then mix and master the record to the loudness and clarity that Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube expect. While the record is being finished, our designers create the cover art and visual identity, and our video team plans the music video, lyric video and the short vertical clips that carry a song on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Releases go out through DistriBeats, the music distribution platform built by Klaslead, to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, JioSaavn, Amazon Music, Gaana, Wynk, Instagram, Facebook and more than 150 stores worldwide. ISRC and UPC codes, metadata, release dates, pre-saves, YouTube Content ID and social music library delivery are set up correctly the first time, so the song is found, credited and paid wherever it is played.
After release day, the work continues. The Klaslead social media team runs the campaign — content calendar, creator seeding, Reels and paid promotion — while the label pitches to editorial playlists and tracks what is working. Artists receive clear royalty statements and a straight answer about where their money comes from. And because Klaslead also runs LIVE Events & DJ and Klaslead Academy, label artists get real stage time and a community of musicians, producers and DJs around them.

Rights, Content ID & royalties

Does Klaslead Music sign Bengali and Hindi artists?
Yes. Klaslead Music works with original music in any language, including Bengali, Hindi, English and Punjabi, and across pop, indie, hip-hop, electronic, folk fusion, devotional and film-style music.
Do I keep the rights to my music?
It depends on the deal, and it is always agreed in writing before any work starts. In a release and marketing deal you keep ownership of your master. In a full label release, master ownership, revenue split and term are set out clearly in the agreement so there are no surprises.
Where will my song be released?
Klaslead Music releases through DistriBeats to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, JioSaavn, Amazon Music, Gaana, Wynk, Instagram and Facebook music, TikTok and more than 150 digital stores and platforms worldwide.
Does Klaslead Music make music videos?
Yes. The Klaslead video production team shoots music videos, lyric videos and short vertical content for Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, with colour grading and editing done in-house.
How are royalties paid?
Streaming and download revenue is collected through DistriBeats. Artists receive clear statements showing where the money came from, and are paid according to the split in their agreement. YouTube Content ID and social music library income are tracked too.
Do I have to pay to join Klaslead Music?
Signed label releases are funded by Klaslead Music under the terms of the agreement. Artists who only want production, or release and marketing for a song they own, can choose a paid service instead. You will always know which kind of deal you are being offered.
How long does it take to hear back about a demo?
Every demo is listened to. Klaslead Music replies to the submissions it can help with. If you have not heard back, you are welcome to keep sending new songs.
